The four items that must be brought with the CFA exam and placed on the table.
1. Admission ticket (printed on the CFA official website);
2. CFA candidate's passport (machine readable);
3. Writing tool: 2B pencil. If you are a CFA Level 3 candidate, you also need to bring a black fountain pen or black signature pen to answer subjective questions in the morning;
4. CFA exam specific calculator (TI BA II Plus or HP 12C).
Stationery required for CFA exam:
The CFA exam requires the use of pencils and calculators, and the prescribed pencils are 2B or HB pencils. However, in reality, automatic pencils and No.2 pencils are also acceptable. The CFA pencil is mainly used for filling out answer sheets in the exam room. Due to the strict requirements for filling and modifying the CFA exam, it is recommended that candidates use either a regular 2B pencil or an automatic 2B pencil, which is convenient for filling in and erasing and modifying.
At CFA level 3, you can also use a black signing pen to answer IPS writing in the morning. In addition to some stationery, you must also bring your passport and admission ticket, otherwise you cannot enter the CFA exam room.
